Children's University

Congratulations to all the 34 children in years 2 and 6 who graduated from Children's University this year. The ceremony was held at Edge Hill University and was a real celebration of the children's commitment and was attended by many supportive parents and carers.

All the children earned certificates in recognition of their achievements.

Special congratulations to Lexie Kane who achieved the most credits of anyone in the whole of Sefton and received a gold fellowship doctorate award and medal.

Children’s University works in partnership with schools encouraging and celebrating participation in extra-curricular activities in and outside of school.

Over the years, children earn credits by attending clubs, experience new places and visit extended learning venues. Children who participate in Children’s University have the opportunity to learn in a rich range of contexts. This adventure introduces children to the joy of learning,  develops their confidence and aspirations for the brightest futures. Participation in extra-curricular activities builds self-confidence and resilience.
