As you are aware we were inspected on the Thursday before Easter.
Our Inspector, Mr Graham, judged the school to be outstanding in all areas.
The inspection process was an extremely rigorous one but we found the inspector to be both encouraging and supportive.
During the course of the inspection, he met with parents, watched Year 1’s class service, spoke with representatives of the Ethos Group, School Council and other children at lunch; observed a number of RE lessons and looked at RE work.
He questioned Reverend Birch and other representatives from the church and governors, spoke with Mrs Ascroft and Mrs Evans (our RE and Worship coordinators) and spent time with myself and Mrs Myers.
I would like to thank those of you who responded to the parental questionnaire prior to the process and also express my gratitude to everyone who has worked hard in the build up to the inspection but also over the years to create a school that “through its distinctive Christian character, is outstanding at meeting the needs of all learners”.
I would urge you to read the report in full - available on the policies and reports pages.
