What would we do without the tireless hard work of parents who arrange, run and support so many events to raise funds for our school?
Discos, parties, a Christmas Fair, a Quiz Night, a Spring Ball and the Ainsdale Show are just a few of the fun events enjoyed by children and parents alike.
This year will be even busier and your children will be able to take part in many more FUNdraising activities so watch this space! Make this the year you come and join the fun with your children, family and friends.
As a parent of a child at Ainsdale St John's you are automatically a member of the PTA. We know how busy parents are but if you are able to help in any way, your input is more than welcome.
The PTA are so grateful for the generosity of our parents and children - we honestly couldn't do it without you.

2011-2012 - The Story So Far!
January 2012 Update
We hope you all had an enjoyable and restful Christmas and New Year. As you can see from the transformation of the infant playground, planned work has been completed and I'm sure you'll agree, the place looks fantastic - and I'm sure the children agree too!!
The money raised by the events organised by the PTA in the last school year has helped fund the likes of The Razzle Dazzle Den (which I believe can be heard from afar), the Picnic Table (which now hosts many a snack time chin wag) and fun and exciting activity boards to keep the children entertained (and have an element of learning but don't tell the kids ;-)
Without each and every one of you who attend these events, and part with your hard earned cash, the PTA could not hand over these generous donations to the school - which ultimately help enrich our children's experience at school - so a massive thank you so far - but we need you to keep up the good work!!
December 2011 Update
As we move into December, it's hard to believe the PTA has already had a fantastically busy and exciting few months. We've had the wonderful 'Reception Welcome Party' which was a huge success and wonderfully exciting for all our new children and parents. We've hosted children's disco's, an 80's night for the mum's and dad's and last Friday saw yet another amazingly successful Christmas Fair - see the photographs below for proof of a brilliant evening.

Doors 7.30pm Quiz 8pm
Tickets £4 pp
Decide on your team members, complete the form (which came home with your son/daughter) and write out your cheques (made payable to 'Ainsdale CE School PTA)
The Quiz Night is an enjoyable and fun night out that won't break the bank!!

Friday 3rd February 2012 - The ever popular Disco!!
Have a look at the photographs below and if your son/daughter's never been, why not get them to come along? The children have a brilliant time and gives them a chance to let their hair down after a busy week at school.
There is always teacher supervision and the PTA parents help out with the sweet shop - but any help off parents is always welcome so don't be shy to ask if we need a hand :-)

Junior Disco between 6.15pm - 7pm
Entrance Fee - £1.50 Sweets/Drinks/Crisps will be on sale on the night

Time: 7.30pm til Late
There will be Live Entertainment, Fund raising Auctions and a Disco. Black Tie is optional but a Mask is a MUST!!!
Tickets are selling out quickly so if you're interested, please be sure to get your forms and payments in soon!!

2010-2011 Update
A MASSIVE £11,000 WAS RAISED IN THE LAST SCHOOL YEAR SO WELL DONE EVERYONE!!! As ever, every single penny goes directly to the school to help benefit all our children.
There are exciting projects in the pipeline so keep re-visiting the Ainsdale St John's website and click on the PTA page for updates and photographs.
2009-2010 Update
OVER £8000 WAS RAISED IN THE LAST SCHOOL YEAR!!! Every penny raised goes directly to benefit all the children.
The money raised contributed towards the building of our wonderful learning base 'The Rainbow Room' which adds to our Outdoor Learning Environment! This will enable the children to have even more creative, practical and investigative learning experiences.
