Children start school either morning or afternoon sessions the first week dependant on their age. Older children then move onto full days and staying for lunch the second week. By week three all children are in school full time.
The two week timetable is structured around play, getting to know each other, class rules and getting use to our classroom provision. Short daily sessions are introduced such as a story, nursery rhymes and counting. Observations are taken of children so that an accurate baseline judgement can be made.
Children are given a communication book called our 'Busy Book' that will be used throughout the year at home and at school.
