This half-term we are pausing the usual lessons and replacing them with a really special ‘optional’ project focusing on our NHS heroes.
This project can easily be adjusted for all age groups so there is something for everybody. There are some really lovely ideas that should keep you busy during the half-term week. Take a look!
You may have heard that children all over the country have been bringing joy to others by sending cards, letters and pictures to people living in care homes. During this time, people living in care homes cannot have their usual visitors and some don't have family or friends to hear from. Care homes are appealing to children to 'brighten the days' of their residents.
You may have done this already but school have received word from a local care home who have recently put out this request and we'd like to help.
If you can, draw a picture, write a letter or make a card and then either send or 'safely' drop off your card to school between Monday 1st June and Friday 5th June. We will then collate all the cards and pass them on to those in need (following guidance to ensure that they are safely distributed!)
