Reading at home is currently more important than ever before! Research shows that reading can widen a child’s vocabulary, improve their spelling and develop their imagination and concentration.
We know our Year 5 & 6 children enjoy reading at home and they recently been discussing some of their favourite books. Mrs Houghton wanted to share with you, this list of 100 books to read in Year 5 and 6.
You may find you have read some of these already, and if not, why not choose one to begin with and see what you think. You could then chat with your peers and teachers about it on DB Primary!
How many can you read before September?
