Parents completed a survey about remote learning.
We received 73 responses from families.
The results were overwhelmingly positive and supportive.
97% strongly agreed or agreed that communication was timely and clear.
99% strongly agreed or agreed that the school had maintained a sense of belonging.
93 % strongly agreed or agreed that the school supported staff in staying safe.
92% strongly agreed or agreed the school made it easy for them to access the work.
Some parents thought the work set was too much others wanted a little more.
They felt lessons followed a clear sequence and tasks were carefully explained through video and spoken messages.
Crucially, parents welcomed the timely and meaningful feedback which certainly helped children improve their work further as well as giving them a real sense of achievement.
Finally, over 85% of parents indicated they had learnt a great deal about how the children learn.
