Sounds Work

Today we are looking at alliteration. This is when words start with the same sound. 

Using these sorts of activities helps children to listen carefully and aids both reading and writing. 

If you find that your child is particularly good at this activity, they could have a go at copying the letter (if you draw it for them) that goes with the sound. They could also try to think of other words that start with the same sound. 

As the week progresses we will move onto Fred talk and words.
