Summer

We just want to say a huge thank you to all the children and their families for their co-operation and support during this difficult time.

Also, a massive well done to everyone for the amazing work you have completed both at home and in school – we are very proud of our school family!

The 6-week summer break is a fantastic time for everyone to relax, reflect, recharge and prepare for the next academic year. This year it provides an opportunity to prepare for the return to school. The children and staff (and parents!) have earned a well-deserved rest but we are also aware that some children are still keen to complete work over the holidays. We have put together a pack of workbooks focusing on end of year and transition activities, and a bank of useful websites/resources.

There is no obligation to complete these tasks – you can dip into them as much or as little as you want.

There are also lists of recommended books – maybe you have read some of them already? Maybe you will find some inspiration for a new read? How many can you read over the summer?

If you do just ONE school-related activity over the summer, please continue to read, read, READ!
