Last week we held a super Junior Sports Day with the children taking part in field events (such as triple jump and javelin), sprints and relay races.
Supported by hundreds of spectators, competition was fierce but the athletes were respectful.
We were fortunate to have the help of students from Greenbank and Birkdale high schools as well as Sports Cubed.
Mrs Urwin (for the final year) collated the results and recorded that China were victorious with Italy in second place.
Congratulations to everyone for a great day.
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
