Pupil Premium

What is Pupil Premium?

At Ainsdale St. John's, we believe that every child should have the opportunity to thrive, achieve and reach their full potential. Through our Pupil Premium funding, we provide additional support for eligible pupils to ensure that circumstances outside of school do not become barriers to success. This is rooted in our ASJ Way, where we encourage every child to Aspire, Shine and follow the example of Jesus.

Pupil Premium funding is provided by the government to help improve educational outcomes for children who may face disadvantage. At Ainsdale St. John's, this funding is used to provide high-quality teaching, targeted interventions and enrichment opportunities that enable children to flourish academically, socially and emotionally.

We are committed to ensuring that all pupils feel included, valued and supported. Through our ASPIRE curriculum, we aim to develop confident learners who demonstrate resilience, ambition and a love of learning.
